The problem with Ajattara starts to be evident. Well, depending on who you ask, he or she may say this problem was already evident two or three years ago. That is, due to lack of ambition or ideas, Ajattara's last albums have been all the same.

Therefore, the Finnish band continues playing some deep and interesting dark metal that, together with Koskinen's agonic vocals, will sound just right to the ears of the good misanthrope. The problem here is that it seems as if we had heard all this before. Many of us thought that Pasi Koskinen -named Ruoja in Ajattara- would pay extra attention to his personal project, but he seems to be saving some good ideas to use them in any of his multiple projects.

We will keep an eye on this band, as they will make a step forward one of these days -I guess.
