Títle Intoxicating Evolution (2005) -demo-
Label Self Production
There's wisdom in rectifying… or so they say. If that was true I'll become rich after writing this review because I'm going to rectify myself in public. Two years ago I criticized this Mexican band with their "Tales From Distant Skies And Far Beyond" of which I told lots of things, and not exactly good things. This new demo's title, "Intoxicating Evolution" contains the word that defines better the course of this two years for the band: evolution. Yes, I have to congratulate this guys, because with no budget they have "lavar imagen" and made a Power Metal demo disc that could compete against other disc made at a professional level. Seven songs, almost 40 minutes of music, full of melodies more or less tipical but really well composed, and under a terrific production work. Maybe the voice would be the main thing to be polished up because, though there is a considerable improvement, we can see a little limitation in the high registers, but we are in front of a demo, and in front of a really interesting work. Congratulations Aethra.
